Our Story.

Hi, we are Monique & Meng, and we are Bundaberg based photographers!

I have always loved art and creating art. Having grown up with a strong passion to express myself creatively. I found photography to be my way of conveying that passion. In 2011, I fell in love with photography, which is when I was given the best gift from my dad, my Nikon D7000. I would attend all the motorsport and horse events that I could possibly go to, absolutely in awe of what I would see as my future career. In 2013 I completed my Diploma of Photography, which is the same year I photographed my first wedding. in 2014, I was published for the first time in Nikon’s Nphoto magazine, and that’s when I knew this is what I wanted to do. In 2017, I met the love of my life who encouraged me to follow my dreams. With his support, the encouragement of my family and my need to live creatively, my dream of becoming a photographer blossomed. in 2019, M.E. Photography expanded from a 1 person team, to a 2 person team. The love of my life and I have paired together to capture and share your special moments! 

We believe in love and most importantly, we believe in soulmates. True love is what motivates us every day. With a romantic and playful sensibility, we seek to capture the effortless laughs, raw emotion, and true love, inviting each unique couple to relish in the experience of a session as much as the images that follow. We love every aspect of the process of photography. We love people and their stories. We love the uniqueness that each of our couples brings to the table. We love the tangible feeling of love in a photograph and our desire to is document the great love that you and your person share with each other.
